lengh of commute

31km each way from Melba in the NW of Canberra, all the way to Tuggeranong Office Park on the Southern tip of Canberra. Mondays it's a little further, as I'm required to go through the City on my morning commute. I choose a route which is about 25% road, 75% bike paths. I'm still adjusting to the extra distance, after changing jobs in early January.

Since I moved, my commute is only 8km each way now. Pretty straight forward. Creek road to Logan road down to Greenslopes Hospital. I start work very early so there is very little traffic, and finish work early so I don't have to deal with peak hour traffic.

I"m in Maryborough QLD, and I do 5km each way five days aweek. Not worth using a car.

22 km for me, but I catch the train home because people drive like crap on the way home from work and I have better things to do of an evening

39km each way for me, Ipswich to Fortitude Valley. Not quite up to doing both ways regularly, going to start riding in one day, back the next for a while.

24 km each way into Melbourne and back. Train in and riding home twice a week while I recover from a knee operation, did manage in and out 3 times in a week a month or so ago but it caused issues with my still recovering knee and I had to have 2 weeks of the bike to recover, lesson learnt.

That's reassuring to hear. Currently I commute between 10-15km each way 3-4 days a week but will be moving house so that it'll be 17-40km each way. I was a little worried, but I guess it'll just take time to build up.

I now added distance to my commute each way as I got faster and faster sometime between 10 and 15 Km's and most so far have added 70

About 7 kilometres each way, fairly flat and the majority using the Bourke Street Cycleway. I'm lucky I guess
