so, i was coming back from critical mass/meeting lots of cool people after critical mass.
i got off at my favourite station, sunnybank, where another (non bike rider) also got off... there was a grand total of two of us.
half way walking to the lift i thought... hell, i can ride this in a 1/3rd of the time, so i sped off, in the opposite direction to the departing train, along the platform, to the lift.
henceforth i took the lift, got to the top, saw the stones road exit beckoning from the other end of the bridge and thought hell, i can ride this in a 1/3rd of the time, so i sped off, me on my lonesome... riding along the bridge... not causing anyone an iota of damage until...
duh duh duh...
big brother booms from the speakers:
"NO RIDING ON THE BRIDGE"
now, where the hell did this voice come from?
my goodness, i thought i was on my own! and i was really! i weren't hurting no one!
seriously, isn't it disturbing that some person somewhere is watching me (AND TELLING ME WHAT TO DO!) as i get off my train and make my way home?!
yes, i agree, it is!!
beware big brother is watching...

QR have no emotions. They have a rule that states " No riding of bicycles on QR property ". They don't care if no one else is around or not.
You're lucky they didn't call the police in actually, I have seen that happen in Strathpine. And it was late at night, there was only my family on one side of the platform, and one guy on his way home from work. he hoped on his bike and the station master called the cops. He didn't even get a warning.

I have to say I agree with QR.
Rules are Rules and they are there for a reason!
Just proof that the cameras are monitored for our safety!
