Melbourne North Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following the theft of perfume at a St Albans store and a bike at Flemington last month.

Investigators have been told a man entered a pharmacy on Main Road, St Albans about 8.35am on 9 December and stole several bottles of perfume.

The same man is believed to have returned to the store, stealing several more bottles of perfume, on 14 December about 10.15am.

The following day, the man attended a second-hand dealer on Racecourse Road, Flemington, and stole a Reid Ares bicycle about 10.30 am.

The bike is rare, being one of only two built in Australia.

Detectives have released CCTV and images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, aged in his mid-20s, with thin build, short black wavy hair and goatee beard.

He was wearing a cream coloured t-shirt, shorts and white runners.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential crime report at http://www.crimestoppersvic.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
