Seatbelts on - a little turbulence is expected with some site updates in the works.
Unfortunately, despite onerous testing, there are still a few issues which arise moving it live but all attempts are being made to reduce the impact on the forum as much as possible. Some members may however have experienced a little downtime. It will be stable now as I attempt to better understand the cause.

Surely Speed Wobbles would have been a more appropriate analogy
Love your work Chris,

Or even the odd "locked wheel" is an alternative ?

With the new BNA pages, there has been a flurry of activity from bots that read (or scrap) the site and a few are particularly nasty and unfortunately bring it to a slow-down or stand-still at times. I am monitoring and trying to limit this.

Been having a weird login issue the last day or so, which may or may not be related. I have my setting to auto-login, so opening the page normally pops me straight in. Then it gets weird.... Try to go to any subforum & it logs me out, but going back to the index page & checking the "who's on" list shows me as still being on. :-/ Go through the login process & it boots me straight back out.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

Emailed Christopher about this issue earlier today. He is probably only just getting up about now though.Duck! wrote:Been having a weird login issue the last day or so, which may or may not be related. Even with 'remember me' checked, cache cleared and log in again, same dealio.

Similar issue for me: https://www.bicycles.net.au/forums/view ... 6&t=101626
Edit: seems to be working now.
Edit edit: can log in, but won't 'remember me' once I close the window. *sniff*

The forum login issues should now be solved.
