Briefly thought about doing it with some mates, and then quickly totted up the costs. Even doing just the 6hr was too exxy.
The great idea quickly faded.

A mate of mine is doing the 24 hour solo event. 6 hours sessions on the trainer would put me off but he's keen

My mate ended up doing a tad over 500kms.

Rather than start a new thread I'll just revive this one.
Any one doing the 2020 event at 'the bend'?
I was hoping to do it last year but couldn't get the planets to align. I'm going to do it this year. Keen for some insights on the logistics of this event. Parking, camping, pit usage, recharging etc. The website is a bit light on as far as specifics go.
I'm looking to probably enter the 12hr event. 24hrs is just to expensive. The 12hr is pushing it. The thing that keeps me interested is the opportunity to ride on the race track. I could just do the 6hr but feel its not enough of a challenge as I've done quite a few 6hr+ rides.
So be good to get some feedback from those who have done it or hear from those who also want to give it a go.

Just saw this on the TV, looks pretty cool (did a few 24hour team mtb events years ago for fun) and would love to do the 24 leMans, but that involves going to France. GF seems keen for next year, she'll be the one doing most of the laps haha.
