Till today i'd never seen one of these before - a simliarly constructed TCR branded Trinity.
Checking out the web seems they were only made for one year, 2006 ?

If not, it might get a couple of more rides before going to the dismantlers

Well, the Teschner is mine. I've never even ridden a good quality steel roadie before. Hope it's not too super large, and i'll have to tape over the "Diva" signage I wonder if those 105 wheels are keepers ???
And I just noticed this super bling track bike.

That first generation of Trinity was built for four years (through to '09). It evolved from the aluminium-framed TCR Aero which had been built for the preceding four years or so, hence the early ones, maybe the '07 models as well, bearing the TCR tag.stevenaaus wrote: ↑Sat Apr 18, 2020 8:10 pmI love my 2005 TCR C0. What a climbing bike. It put Giant on the map alright, but a little swervy coming down the big hills, especially braking.

Yeah... sorry. My first road bike was an alluxx sora defy. It was pretty good but a little bendy once i started to get some more strength i think. And i've done up and resold a couple. But i've never had an older alloy/steel bike before that might get the steelies' drooling.P!N20 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 7:36 pmstevenaaus wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 6:17 pmI've never even ridden a good quality steel roadie before.

That Teschner Diva looks like it has carbon seat stays ?? So i guess i'm disqualified from calling it a steelie.

That carbon Teschner track bike appears to have a super short wheelbase... or is that normal?

If that's too big, then I hope you're very short! Plus what they said about aluminium. Have had a few alum/carbon bikes (Giant, Cell, EMC and no-name bikes) they've always been good to ride.stevenaaus wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 6:17 pmWell, the Teschner is mine. There seems to have been a rise in prices as people go looking for something above basic level bkes to exercise on.

I think that P!N20's point was that your Diva is not a steel bike, it's aluminium. It might be a nice Al alloy (could have some scandium), but it's definitely an aluminium alloy rather than an alloy steel.stevenaaus wrote: ↑Mon Apr 27, 2020 8:31 pmYeah... sorry. Il be able to ride it, but as far as keeping a bike goes, I feel more comfortable on 50cm medium-small.
This is more my size. Dedacciai

My google-fu is not good enough to find much information on this cro-mo bicycle.

What do you need to know? A few years back Pinarello had a few retro inspired models in their line-up. Intended for 'urban' use at exorbitant prices - at least that one doesn't have a garish paint job.
Of course, the original Venetos from the 90's are highly desirable (in my world, at least.)

I was looking for owners' experience with this bike as well as chainring/cassette range.
How much was it back then?

Can't find any info, but the drivetrain looks like modern ratios - 50/34 up front, 11/32 out back? I'm just guessing though.
Not sure how much it was when it came out, but you don't see many around.

Very much along the lines of what P!N20 has already stated, but I'd be asking the seller how long they've had this in stock. My understanding was that the Veneto was discontinued after the 2015 model year, which makes this example possibly at least 5-6 years old. I'd also be asking how this affects any warranty. I could be out re the year discontinued, and P!N20 would have a much better idea I believe.hunkydory1 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 29, 2020 11:15 amAnyone know about Pinarello Veneto?

To me though, this makes a $1900 price tag a bit optimistic. I have no doubt it would be a nice bike and lovely ride, just not sure it's worth $1900 in 2020, although I seem to recall a roughly $3k RRP in 2014/2015 (?).

Doubt it, but sounds about right. The earliest I can find are from about 2012.
