There was a Pegoretti Luigino that popped up in eBay late yesterday with a Buy It Now for 4 grand. Don't see many of them around. By the time I logged into eBay 2 hours later, it was sold. phew.

- San Marco Regal Titanio saddle (rub marks on corner rear left corner, missing one rear plate cap, cosmetic, otherwise Excellent)
- Record 36 hole hubs w/ original skewers (perfect)
- wheels built with Sapim double butted spokes 3x
- Mavic Open Pro Ceramic (yes !!!) rims, decals removed (perfect)
- Challenge Criterium 300tpi 23c tyres, (perfect)
- Record 10 speed cassette, 13-29 (perfect)
- Chorus 10 speed 175mm 39/53 crankset w/ original crankbolts (near perfect)
- Campy cable and housing set as pictured, f/der. cable cut a little short. It was a large bike so most of it should be useful.
- Record Ultra 10 speed chain & quick link (perfect)
- Record Ti differential brakeset (dual pivot front, single pivot rear) w/ Swisstop pads for Ceramic rims (perfect)
- Record 10 speed front derailleur, clamp mount 28.6mm (near perfect)

Uncle Spizz! Not denying his love of Italian stuff, but he always espoused the virtues of Australian built frames as being as good or if not better than their European counterparts. He indirectly taught me a lot when I was getting into the game.

Interesting market/school bike alright.

But maybe a problem having a big weight/rack on a 25mm slick... specially in the wet. I'd ditch the rack or fit commuting wheels, though probably limited by frame clearance.

It looks like the seller is doing their best to show the faults, but cracks in carbon are hard to rule out.
