I just got my Tooo light in the post. I ordered one after reading this thread. Vital Statistix:
- very light (90g)
- has 2 mounts (1 is a spare)
- mounts include 4 small and 2 large o-rings, and also a thick rubber spacer for resting on the tubes
- charges via USB-C (short cable included)
- power button appears completely waterproof, as it's covered by a seam-free rubber cover
- USB-C charging port is at the bottom of the unit (not ideal, given water can spray up there on wet days), and is covered by a tethered rubber cover

Btw, the rubber spacer I mentioned is just for aero seat posts, the 2 mounts have their own rubber inserts for normal seat posts.

I got around to setting up the camera and trying it. A few notes:
- you can record in 1080p with either 30fps or 60fps, in TS (recommended) or MP4 format, with timestamp showing in the video or not, and with the recordings split into segments of 1, 3, 5 or 10 minutes.
- the video has a fisheye effect, presumably to give a better field of view.
- you can use the power button to also set a mode, one of camera+flashing, camera+solid, camera+nolight, and nocamera+solid.
- the SD card can be up to 128GB (which is the size I used, I bought an SDXC card) and *must* be FAT32 (i.e. the common format used today, exFAT, won't work, I verified that!). The instructions clearly state this requirement also.
- manual says recording time for 128GB is 2400 hours, so the 24000 on the website was a typo, as someone mentioned up-thread. Obviously, the battery life would be the limiting factor here, not the card capacity.
- when the card is getting full, the device overwrites the oldest file for each recording
- when the device detects a crash (yes, it apparently has crash detection!), it records for 1 hour then shuts down
- it's waterproof to IPX5, but as I mentioned, if there's any weak point, it would be the USB charge slot on the bottom, but provided there's not too much upwards water spray at that point (e.g. if you use [clip-on] mudguards), it should be OK

I've just set mine up today. Will run for the commute in the morning and evening and let you know how it goes. When I figure out how to fit the Fly-6 at the same time, I'll try to figure out how to do a split screen comparison.

One downside already noted, there's no tether. I will make one up and glue it on with Shoo Goo once photos are taken.

Re batteries in the 12's. You can pull the originals out and re-new with new ones, it's not a big job.

Personally I've never had a problem with the battery in the 12's. It's the rears that seem to fail.

I run a saddle bag. But I found something that sort of works. Workmate has 3d printed it and it seems to fit well. Just needs some minor adjustments

An immediate issue is the moount. The same style mount on the Cycliq Fly6CE bobs quite badly. The contrast to the TOOOCycling unit in video quality as a result is quote as a result.

GPlama has released his review too. Sounds like there are some software glitches to sort still. I've had two current fly6's and the first one had a very average camera and the second one which was supposed to be exactly the same has a far far better camera. So I'm not sure it would deter me.

Lama said the camera is also very prone to damage from rocks if riding on the dirt.. personally I don't really need a rear camera for dirt riding to not a big deal to me.

The app functionality doesn't really worry me as I can wait till I get home.

In summary the only thing that I think would be a negative for me is the battery life - but again it's at least as good as the fly6 I have now.

What I have now works but .. When my fly6 dies (probably after the next shower) I'll probably get one.

The other thing for me that is a significant downside with the Garmin is that many of the features/functionality appear to be available only with the latest (x30) series of Garmin computers, so I would assume definitely not with my Bryton 410 computer. This looks like it would mean that I would have to run my phone with the app (assuming that the app will actually connect reliably, which seems to be questionable) to utilise the Garmin features (which is probably never going to happen) - running out of handlebar space for that as a I have a DJI Osmo Action mounted as a front camera (as well as the usual light, computer & bell).

I currently have a tiny Mobius Maxi mounted at the back (up under my saddle), which actually seems to be one of the better 1080P cameras out there and it works quite well. The downside is the lack of waterproofing, so if it starts raining (when hasn't it rained in the last few months) or I go through deeper water (I go through two normally dry-ish creek beds on my regular ride, but lately they have been up to 200mm deep) I either have to stop and remove it or risk it getting wet.

Hence the question about the Too camera which seems to have gone quiet with minimal feedback from the members who ordered it, which is usually not a positive sign.

I think if cycliq could address their fly6 quality issues I think they still have a market. A lot of people like yourself don't need or want the radar. If you don't, then it's quite expensive for a rear camera/light. They have to be able to withstand a wet ride though.

My experience with the Fly12 is it's been pretty decent. I would like the opportunity to buy another in the future.

I've just received notification that my order for one of these has just shipped. Supposed to be more thoroughly waterproof, long runtime and better low light performance that the Fly6. Competition for Cycliq has arrived.
