Any reason to use e-bike specific chain lube? Or more of a marketing hype?
Usually apply Rock and Roll Dry Lube, works well since I only ride in good weather.
Learned something new, the chain doesn't go back when free wheeling, any tricks or need a stand to lift the rear wheel?

I use the same ProLink Gold lube on my partner's Liv Rove E+ 9 speed chain - same cleaning regime too - no issues 700+km down the track.
Carefully flip the bike upside down protecting the saddle rim and bars and lube it that way until you procure a rear stand.

On mine, if you slide a like 4mm hex tool through one of the chainring bolt holes and the push the crank backwards against this the chain will free wheel. E- bike shop mechanic showed me, very handy and easypeter wrote: ↑Sun Jul 17, 2022 9:52 pmAny reason to use e-bike specific chain lube? Or more of a marketing hype?

I have a folding work stand, but would like to avoid setting it up just to lube the chain.

That's clever, never thought of that. Now I know how it works, such a simple and effective trick.
