$49- a pair is dirt cheap.
Just buy 2 pair.
It is not much money, can't go wrong if you dont mind the branding being on them.

Get yr point warty but been there done that LOL.
3/4 Inch thick chamois nah OR they could be OK too, thats why I asked to give them
a second chance, got some newish nice LECOLS x 3, Bontrager x 2, don't really need any more.
But if any positive feedback here or anywhere I looked - I'd grab 'em.

I've used Open Road Cycles on multiple occasions for Castelli gear - they have excellent clearance sales, no issue with delivery, and I would readily recommend them.

For $49 a go I might give the Pinarello's a shot - even though I generally don't do bibs.

I just ordered some. They’ve been in stock for months so I’ll let you know how good they are when I get them, there’s a good chance there’ll still be some in stock.

I’m most definitely ‘small’ so there were plenty of bigger sets left!

Feels wrong buying bike branded knicks but for that price I’ll take the fashion hit.

Well, I can certainly swear by OpenRoad Cycles - I ordered on Tuesday evening, and my order was delivered today.

The quality of the Pinarello bibshorts honestly doesn't look that great, though it's always hard to tell without extended usage. I'll report back when I've been for a ride in them. Slightly down on the finish standard of the Castelli I normally wear.

As a bonus they seem to have mistakenly shipped me two Castelli Potenza jerseys as well which they're selling for $129 each, so more than my total order individually. Yes, I am letting them know!

Have tried them on, I'd say they're 'alright'. For $49 not too bad at all.

OpenRoad have been excellent to deal with as well - when I informed them of their error in shipping me an extra $300 odd in bonus jerseys, they thanked me for my honesty and have sent out a return paid package 'including a few small gifts as thanks'.

That's excellent customer service.

To follow up on that one, I've already put that bibshort into the 'rides shorter than 40km or only' category and I'm not particularly fussy.

I wouldn't recommend them. Just not particularly comfortable.
