Nice one, a colleague was test riding the Pedal version this weekend, not sure how he got on.

I wonder if the Tern 52l panniers would fit? They would make groceries very easy. I think they could be too short to reach the foot rails though.
I think you're right the tern panniers are short to suit their bike which will make them a bit short. Surly big dummy panniers would probably fit

but SWMBO had heel strike when I put the single panniers too far forward in the pic below. I'm thinking of getting a nice pair of Ortleib panniers for xmas & come up with a quick way to fit a crate to the rack, which worked ok for shopping trip on sunday - basically 5 standard shopping bags

^^^ Is there an adjustable hook at the bottom to move back or not??

There's 40lt Ortlieb classic back roller panniers in e-bay for $189 from dysonbikes seller.

It can be moveable to back to avoid heel strike.
ID please? What ID? My seat tube ID is 27.2mm or 31.6mm depending on what bikes I ride today.thanks...

Easy enough to move those panniers back - more looking at something bigger & also something easier to take off & re-fit - those ones are too hard to re fit when they're full. Thanks for the tip re ortliebs

Carried a week's worth of groceries today in the bike, no sweat. I took a photo but it didn't actually take.

:P I have contemplated loading it with ice and using it as an Esky for parties, just got to angle it forward, so the water drains away from the batteries and harness.

Couldn't move my car out of the garage as the battery was dead, so rode the cargo bike to get a new one. Does this make it an E²-bike?
