I used to watch a lot of the classic events on SBS, but they have lost some of their lustre in recent years.
Actually it was a pleasure to watch the recent TDU stages and the Cadel Road Races that were shown on one of the Channel 7 free-to-air stations.
Particularly great to see such a strong commentary team, which at various times included Anna Meares, Phil Ligget, Robbie McEwan, Matthew Keenan, and others.

It was quite a treat watching some of the MSR on SBS last night.
The coastal scenery was amazing.
Then I woke up about 2 hours later with 15 km to go.
Pog looked unbeatable at first then Pidcock descended like a bat out of hell but MVDP was rock solid and stayed up with the action as the others burnt their matches.
And JP got the win but MM came out of nowhere and deserves the biggest kudos for nearly nailing it on the line.
