Forum security?

Postby Jean » Thu Jul 25, 2024 9:59 am

Hi Chris,

My browser (Safari) tells me the forum site is not secure, even when I'm logged in. Possibly linked to this is that my browser doesn't offer any sort of memory for logging in and I have to enter my details and password each time. Can you please advise?

Cheers

Can you check the web address and that it has https:// in front.
This was spotted by another member where older bookmarks or browser remembered addresses go to http://

By adjusting it then it typically fixes it.

For peace of mind, this site does not store sensitive data so is also low-risk,. both because of this and also because potential malicious entities know that all they get from the site is people talking about bikes.
