A fly12 competitor!

They have a rear light
Doesn't look like they spent much money on design aesthetics:

Too right - I bought the rear Tooo before I bought front and rear Cycliqs. Still have it as a spare. The video quality of the Tooo is actually better than the Fly6 in low light, but it is a very ugly looking unit.

For me, the person on the bike is uglier than anything I can stick on the bike

just came across this option. another alternative to FLY12. less than half the price
- loop recording
- 8H run time
- 100 lumens light
- bike horn (??)

has its own custom mount. wonder if anyone here has seen it in real life?

Thanks for linking. This is a very timely discussion, as I am going to have to replace my front light and video soon.

Search for '3 In 1 Sport DV' on Aliexpress and you'll find that exact model for half the price.

Kentfaith (KF) have been around for quite a long time - I first saw KF camera lens filters years ago, but in recent years they seem to be branching in to low priced camera-related stuff like cheap tripods etc. I suspect there is a lot of badge-engineering going on. Some of the stuff seems to have a decent reputation (at least for the price) but I have no personal experience with it.

One of the things that raises my eyebrows is wondering how heavy-handed the file compression is. This thing ships with a 64G card and says it can record for 8 hours - this is around 7.5Gb per hour. My DJI Osmo Action 3 that I use on the front records 4K/60 at 40Gb per hour which is a big difference in quality.

This actually looks like quite a useful gadget (if the specs/claims are true) and unlike many of these "combo" gadgets has a decently bright like - if I hadn't recently bought my Osmo Action 3 (on sale at $250 before the 5 was launched), it would almost be worth spending the $100 or so to try it out.

funny you mentioned that.
That's how I knew about KF. ie bought their camera filters some years back. They made decent photography products. GOod value for money.
seems like they're branching into other products now.

Problem is that I am not sure they are actually making many of them. They are doing deals with other Chinese suppliers to put the K & F badge on things that they probably have little to do with otherwise.

I was looking for a compact travel tripod a few months ago and KentFaith came up in my search - I am not saying that their stuff isn't/wasn't any good, but a few items I looked at looked very much like several other items that appeared in my Google searches but from Aliexpress or even Temu with different brand names on them.
