Dunno about 1x personally but I guess you can get a seat tube clamp for the FD?
Yeah, I looked at them too, but I already have a "proper steel" roadie, and these were well over $3k for F&F before delivery.

It seems that anything coming from OS is stupid shipping cost.
Not just that but the the Aus dollar was trading at * US61.8c, and as low as 61.3c yesterday.
Maybe best wait a few weeks till the traders dump the usd when the orange monster takes control of the circus tent.

My guess is the currency traders are looking on drooling at the gift horse to buy and sell positions knowing things that are normally unknown.
So while your timing is not good for o/s stuff the rest of the worlds currencies are also floundering just on the short term(?) strength of the usd. This should settle soonish
(* US69c in October so down about 12pc in 14 weeks / date of us election? About 10 weeks ago)

The other option is a Chinese *** Carbon frame, and found this one (and there are plenty of threads around about it), and like some of the small details like the internal routing and Di2 position switch (albeit it's not planned to be a Di2 bike ...)

Ticks most of the boxes, and probably would not use their bars/stem (sell them off and use mine).

USD $805 shipped (A$1,350) , so fits the price bill. 8)

*** Yeah I know, I'm normally against the PRC, but that is on a data basis and money sometimes rules .....

I'd avoid Airwolf, quite a few people had issues in this thread on Chinertown on their YFR066 (basically an Aspero copy):

Plenty of interesting China frames out there but I wouldn't go with that one.

Some interesting options, with the Jimmy V2 being the standout, but no price.
Their designs are very similar to the Seaboard steel frames seen on aliexpress.
