Hi, I am thinking of a SE lager, has anyone got one? Any feedback on the performance?
Cheers

I can't say I'm a fan of bullhorn bars. There's nothing wrong with them ... until you hit a head wind. What's wrong with drops?
Secondly, their Aussie distributor doesn't list them. Postage from the states to here is horrendous and could easily add $500 to the sale. They might do it cheaper to a distributor, but then you've got to get it from the distributor. And, of course, you can't see before you buy ... because they don't have any.
It looks a nice bike though.

Hi Richard,
Thanks. I want bullhorns for no other reason than I think they look good. I have a roadie with drop's and wanted something that is a bit of fun. You can buy them here and they are $600 AUS. It looks good as a start out bike, but happy to take suggestions. I'm not that hands on so my mechanic skills are lacking for the whole DIY fixey, hence looking for the cheap full bike. I am finding it really hard to come across a second hand bike for around this money.
Cheers

Fair enough on all points. If you can get one for $600, it sounds like a good buy and the specs don't look all that bad.
Don't let the DIY bit faze you, it's not that hard, though I can understand you shying away from wheel work. The rest of it is no more complicated that adjusting your chain ... just smaller bits to lose (as anyone who has picked up the rag holding the ball bearings by mistake can attest
