Ordered a set of pedals from cyclindeal.com.au (through ebay) on the 17th and received them on the 22nd. Big thumbs up for them.

Bikewagon US:
Ordered 28th Feb, received 9th March
Wiggle
1st March, received 11th March
St John Street Cycles – first order from them, Tektro long reach, nutted shaft, silver R556 brake set.
Best price including delivery I could find on the net. Vast improvement over 35 year old Shimano Tourney set.
Very nice to have brakes that work and don't flex
1st March, received 10th

Happy with the packaging and delivery and prices of all.
After this lot of net purchases the credit card need a good lie down and rest.

All items were marked as in stock, but the order has been "in process for picking" now for 5 days.
Email fired off yesterday morning to enquire as to the delay, but no response. Fired it off again with some extra wording and emotion.
Hopefully, a bit more actyion may arise

Shot an email to the guys at Merlin who asked for photos of the packaging which I promtly sent. Five minutes later I recieved an email telling me that they were shipping more chains. Took delivery today - shame the first delivery was messed up - but very happy with the reaction from Merlin. Pricing seems good on a number of items and I will be shopping there again!

Wiggle: First order accepted and processed, well I thought. Five days later got an email saying issue with CC. I use debit card and keep the balance low. When I placed the order I had assumed the funds had been removed from the card; apparently they hadn't and in the meantime I had sweeped the balance off to my high interest account. It was frustrating only in it took five days for them to raise the issue.
Order re-processed on March 10 via Pay-Pal this time and received March 15. Five days.
Bike24.net Placed order on March 4, 2010 received March 15 (local post-office) so 11 days from Germany with tracking. Best performance to date.
Regards
Andrew

Very impressed with their service. I had a number of alterations to the standard spec, and they were all installed and noted on the documentation perfectly.

As mentioned previously I ordered some wheels off c r c because they were back in stock, theng et an email 2 days later stating they are out of stock so after waiting for a week, I get my refund. Problem is they have refunded the same amount in gbp but equates to a $13 difference in AUS so I lose out for something that was not my fault.
Has any else had this issue and can advise what I should be doing ? Its only $13 but ffs I should get my full refund back right ? ....sorry just alittle annoyyed with c r c.
thanks

You did get a full refund. I made money on the c r c refunds. Just the way it goes.black4tress wrote:Guys,

Yeap the way the cookie crumbles, unlucky though. In saying that though I just returned a stem to PBK and they refunded me the price I paid 3 weeks ago. It is currently cheaper so they could have refunded me the price today and i would have lost out. Also returned some wiggle items 6months after purchase, pretty sure they refunded me the price I paid back then.black4tress wrote:Guys,

Yes, sounds like it - you win some you lose some.HAKS wrote:Yeap the way the cookie crumbles, unlucky though. I've bought the wheels through Wiggle anyhow (paid $100+ more) but who cares, hopefully get better service and atleast get my wheels. I'm sure c r c are ok for most ppl - I've now got a 50% success rate with them

yes.. i made money when it happened to me, but they should refund you the amount you paid. the reason it happens is that they deal in GBP, so from their perspective it's all equal - it could be an honest oversight or it could be deliberate - they may not wish to expose themselves to losses due to currency fluctuations.black4tress wrote:Has any else had this issue and can advise what I should be doing ? give them a call and make your case.
