I would be lodging a complaint with ebay about the user (complete with all communication) because I don't think these types of threats are on - in the US I assume the usual process would be to sue them.
Kind of hard to know the right thing to do - Maybe you need to donate money to the value of the shoes to a charity. Legally I am guessing you would need return the shoes - minus any costs and if ebay did the right thing they would disable the users account.

I agree with AU, give it to charity and tell him you've done it. You'll annoy the mongrel because he wouldn't be able to understand the concept and you'll dominate the moral high ground.

Unfortunately my wife and I went from VERY well paid whilst working in the insulation industry, to unemployed on a Monday morning when Crudd pulled the foil carpet out from under us and the family business. We're still recovering. Thats not excusing spending his money, and it did predate our unemployment.
Two new karmic developments though, Crudd is going to sit on the back bench tomorrow (hopefully), and we're both foster parents as of last weekend to a bouncing baby something once we get our blue cards etc and our first placement. I have a soft side beneth the concrete and formwork

Not sure if SJS have been covered before. Nothing cheap there but they do carry useful tandem bits and Rohloff accessories. Shipping is slow in my experience. Communication is good though.

I clicked on the Parcel Force link supplied on my order page on c r c, it reads, Your parcel has been dispatched by Parcel Force/GLS Express service. This means that your parcel is due to reach its destination within 2-4 working days of the dispatch date if you are in a major European City, or Worldwide usually within 4-6 working days.
You can check the date that the parcel left the UK on http://www.parcelforce.com using the shipping reference we have provided. Upon leaving the UK the parcel is entered into the GLS network and allocated a new shipping reference for delivery to you by a local courier. You can request this GLS reference by E-mailing sales@this link is broken with your order number. You can follow the progress of your parcel or find details of your local delivery office at http://www.gls-holding.comI discovered the parcel never gets a new tracking number and you can use the same number when you visit the Auspost website to track your parcel, so long as it is thru customs in Australia
I emailed c r c on the 18.8.2010, figuring it had been 10 days since ordering, it must be Australia by now, I asked for them for that new shipping number..they replied
Thank you for your enquiry. Your parcel is currently clearing Customs in Australia. Once it has passed through tracking will appear again.
You can continue to follow it on http://www.parcelforce.com or you can use http://www.auspost.com.au.
So I says,
Do I have to keep emailing to get the new tracking number Parcel Force says the parcel is issued with once it's in the country, coz I have no idea when this may occur,how long do customs take??
c r c says,
As Australia is not in the GLS network your tracking reference remains the same. Please continue to use ... on http://www.parcelforce.com and once the parcel has been released to Auspost you can also track it using http://www.auspost.com.au.
So, it's been 11 days, twice the time I hoped for and I think it's never gonna turn up! .. all 450 bucks worth! Not sure about all this.

I thought I would summarise my recent experience with PBK and c r c. All positive BTW.
PBK Order placed Sunday August 8, 2010 - Received Monday August 16, 2010 - Eight days;
PBK Order placed Wednesday August 11, 2010 - Received Thursday August 19, 2010 - Seven days;
c r c Order placed Sunday August 8, 2010 - Received Tuesday August 17, 2010 - Nine days.

A previous order with Wiggle arrived quicker but they were out of stock of the glasses I wanted. I got regular updates of the (non)progress of the supplier to deliver to Wiggle and gave up after 6 weeks. I wasn't in a rush so didn't kick off about them.
They apologised when I cancelled and hoped that I would use them again.
As long as the UK were awake, emails were answered within an hour which impressed me.

lucky you. ring them and tell them your pedals are useless, thanks to their error and ask them what they will do to rectify it. they'll probably decide posting it back is cost prohibitive, refund you (most) of the money and let you keep them. free pedals.Nobody wrote:c r c again. A few weeks later I saw a T7 branded LS jersey on special so going off the size of other non-T7 jerseys I own I placed an order and received jersey approx 4 days later. So far so good. Quality looked good but when I tried it on it was too large, especially the sleeves. I could send it back but it will cost me more $ in postage so I'll just on-sell it at a loss to another cycling mate. I didn't really *need* it, I just bought it 'cause it was on special for $30 it would of come in handy as an extra.

First my parcel gets sent to Melbourne, the guy some how tracks me down
Secondly, they sent the wrong handlebars
Thirdly (though not entirely PBK's fault) the spider of the Miche cranks I bought are bent.

but the goods arrived in 8 days, and a 3XL size that fits me, not like the euro ones where i'd need a 6XL and you can still see what i ate for lunch...and i can even undo this zip with one hand...

They replied a few days later.
Sent me the grease syringe. Got it today.
The grease port is part of the pedal.
