Almost the same here ordered from both from Wiggle and Ribble on the 25/2, the start of Ribble's 20% off sale (so maybe that explains the delay - ie packing all the orders), Wiggle shipped on 28/2, Ribble two days later on 2/3 and both arrive on Monday 7/3 (a public holiday here in WA, big ups to our local AusPost contractors) just as I returned from a ride.Ross wrote:I did a Ribble order on 26/2, it was dispatched on 3/3 (bit of a delay there, not sure why, the items were showing as in stock when I ordered) and delivered yesterday.
Ribble did a great packing job unlike the throw in a box Wiggle. Still waiting for another shipment to put them all together.

yeah, I had a package from wiggle turn up today looking like someone sat on it Good thing it was just some winter clothing.nickobec wrote:Ribble did a great packing job unlike the throw in a box Wiggle.
On that note, I placed the PBK order I'm waiting on the same day as the wiggle one, and the 'order shipped' email only came a day after wiggle's... so hopefully that means my PBK order will arrive this week (I'm not too optimistic though )

I remember a wiggle order arriving from the UK before something being sent down from Qld - both having been purchased within minutes of each other. Happy with their delivery time and customer service, so will keep using them when the price is right. That said, tomorrow is day 7 for a pair of runners from wiggle, so maybe things have slipped.

Was "9 in stock" when purchased.....after three weeks they tell me it will be two months.......then a week later they find a frame and send it. In total 6 weeks waiting.
Frame is good except for a tiny chip near the headset.......and no specifications are provided. Packaging was good.
Planet-x were responsive / friendly but a little disorganised. You would not use them for a 1 off purchase. They want 40$ postage to send a headset to Australia.
Was offered some drink bottle holders for the delay but none were given.
All in all responsive communication, pretty good frame prices but postage expensive and a little disorganised.

Well, one up for Ribble. As above for my order, but arrived at work today 10Mar Last few Wiggle parcels have been taking 2 + weeksMichaelB wrote:Agree with that. Ribble is the slowest so far. For items in stock, ordered on 23/2. Despatched 5 days later on 28/2. Still waiting for delivery.
Ribble seem to be back on the shopping list again

The extra time doesn't really put me off as the prices for Campagnolo parts are cheap especially with the 20% off which ends today. I put in another order. Hope it's quicker this time as I can finally complete the bike build.

It was not a small box so was $52 delivery[the dearer option] So that was the only downside. The thing that makes it worthwhile is they have some very nice gear
cheers

Last order from wiggle 3rd March, arrived today 10th March; box was a little knocked around but contents OK. Customs beating up on it I suspect.

Yup, the Yorkshire boys are friendly enough but they had a problem with one of my orders. Not worth returning because of the postage. However, they were quicker with my last order, around 10 days.gururug wrote:

Emailed prendas with photos - offered either to send it back and get it repaired or get a discount.limetang wrote:Hardly Prendas fault, Ive ordered heaps from them in the past and the Santini gear is generally of the highest quality. Im sure if you emailed a few photos to them they would likely send you a replacement jersey free of charge ( they offered to do this for me with some Bibs) the guys there are helpful and friendly.ajmit3 wrote:Ordered at Prendas 2 short sleeved jerseys a few weeks ago.
1 of the 'Big Maggy's' black jersey has developed tiny holes above the back pockets after 2 rides- not happy. I can't be bothered sending it back though. Overall, I have heard good things about prendas, so I am a bit dismayed.
Ribble was good though - ordered a giro monza helmet - took about 2 weeks to arrive.
Evans cycles was good - got a 16 pound bike jersey from them - and then upon getting it realised why it was so cheap as it has only one zipped pocket at the back ! Buyer beware I guess.
I opted for the discount - they gave me 15 pounds off - very happy customer !

Yes but it's only been about 8 days as well. Usually it's here within 7.lucky7 wrote:Order from Wiggle on 3 March. Recorded as processed that day - still not here. This could be why. I received my Ribble order finally but the box was opened.CLP1972 wrote:Finally received my c r c order today that was ordered on the 17th feb. Corner of the box was ripped open, so i suspect that customs took an interest.

I've had 10 orders from Wiggle/Ribble/c r c so far this year and the usual wait is between 11 and 16 days for delivery, so you're doing better than me.
However, my last order from Ribble (wheelset) was despatched 4 March and delivered 10 March. Only 6 days, so maybe things are looking up

Yeah - as posted above, it took 7 days, not 5lucky7 wrote:Order from Wiggle on 3 March. Recorded as processed that day - still not here. It's only 8 days, but this is the longest by far I have had to wait for them. Anyone else experiencing longer than normal delivery times from them at present?
You haven't included your location in your profile - so nobody can tell if that might explain the difference. Postal workers are snobs, and will deliberately delay your delivery if you live in the wrong part of town - worse if you're a country bumpkin
Cheers

Probikekit (UK):
Frameset, Stem, Seatpost, Drop Bars, Bar Tape.
Shipped Feb 23 (Wed) and it arrived Mar 3 (Tues). 5 business days.
The customer service was great! Prompt replies and even allowed me to exchange my bike frame as it was too large for me. Unfortunately, the cost of the return shipping would have to be bared by me. I had looked at a few places and only to find out that the cost of shipping the frame back(to the UK) is simply mad! FedEx quoted me a whopping A$800 and pack n send quoted me A$430. Due to the exorbitant prices I have decided not to ship it back as the frame cost me A$650, so now I am stuck with an oversized Cinelli Vigorelli (52cm) frame. Any takers? I wonder how these retailers ship it out to us for pennies and a dime.
Wiggle (UK):
Saddle, Bar Grip, Tubes 5pk.
Shipped 3 Mar (Tues) and it arrived 10 Mar (Thurs). 7 business days. Due to the free shipping the parcel could not be tracked.
Did not have any issues with the stock. However the boxes were a slightly squashed when I came home to find the box sitting at my front door.
Track Supermarkethttp://www.tracksupermarket.com (JPN):
Toe Straps, Chain tensioners.
Shipped 3 Mar (Tues) and it arrived 10 Mar (Tues) 5 business days.
Secure Payment with Paypal. However there was poor communication on their part. I sent out 2 emails but received no reply. Parcel was also left out front. I was given a tracking number with no courier website to track from. Parcel was sent via EMS.
Bellsbikeshop (US ebay seller)
1. Custom Wheelset with cog and lockring (Express Shipping)
Shipped 8 Mar (Tues) and has yet to arrive. Finally arrived, 9 days later (12 Mar)
2. Crank set, Chain, Pedals. (Standard Shipping)
Paypal Payment Cleared 3 Mar (Tues) and has yet to arrive. 10 days and still waiting..
Apparently, the guys have said that I'm more likely to receive the express items before the standard ones. We'll have to wait out on that one.
Communications has be neither good nor bad. Not the quickest response but not the slowest either (Maybe its due to the 12 hour differences with New York).
Cheers.

Not really, I ordered 28 Feb, processed 1 March, and arrived 10 March, that's only a total of 8 business days and about the same as my previous orders. Wiggle do say 7 to 10 working days delivery so I think this is still pretty good.lucky7 wrote:Order from Wiggle on 3 March. Recorded as processed that day - still not here.
