Wiggle - shipped 24/04, arrived Wed 4/5
Ribble - shipped 22/4, still waiting
Deal Extreme - shipped 11/4, still waiting EDIT: Called Auspost, apparently has been returned to sender (by surface mail - 6 weeks possibly) due to 'incorrect address/signature refused'. Funnily enough, same address used as the Wiggle item. Hopefully DX resolve this favourably.
So Wiggle has won that race.

After 2 attempts to deliver (by post and by courier) they rang me to ask about the address (nice bloke too...a pom - bonus!).
I corrected the address and the tubes arrived next day.
They probably lost money on this order (its OK I've ordered other stuff there and will do again in future)
I'm very appreciative, I don't think customer service gets much better than that.

Exact same thing happened to me so I bought off eBay and got the item cheaper anyway...lyno wrote:PBK = fail
Placed my first order with them last Saturday and got 10, yes 10, confirmation emails.
Then when I checked my account on Sunday & Monday it said I had placed no orders, however when I check my PBK rewards points it shows I have none because the 200 points I got for signing up were redeemed towards my order. So I submit an online order enquiry on Monday asking whether I have an order or not. No automated confirmation email is received to acknowledge the enquiry has been received. I eventually get a response on Wednesday advising that the order has not gone through and to submit a new order and "if you need any further help please email me". So I send an immediate response back requesting that the 200 PBK rewards points be credited back to my account so I can apply them to the new order and also asking for clarification on a product enquiry that was made with my original order enquiry and was not addressed. To date no response to this email, I don't think I will be wasting my time with PBK in the future.

Wiggle - Fail
Postby Ressler » Tue May 10, 2011 5:17 pm
Looked at a pair of Sidi 5's the other day on Wiggle. They had them at GBP 202, which I thought expensive and sufficently close to the LBS price from me to buy local instead. However, I happend to change the 'Delivery Destination' to the UK and low and behold the price dropped to GBP 184. This seemed odd considering a UK delivery includes VAT, so I questioned it assuming it was an IT issue, but got a long winded response that made no attempt to explain....
After I brought it to Wiggle's attention I price checked again and the price had dropped to GBP188 for Australian delivery. Still more than the UK price, but what was even stranger was the fact that Wiggle would sell them at GBP $177 if you have a NZ delivery....
Looks to me like Wiggle's trying to get additional margin from it's large Australian customer base by jacking up the price......Poor form.

Still no order and no reply to my emails. I did get through on the phone and spoke to Alex who said that my order would be shipped the next day, and that I would receive an email with shipping/tracking info. Five days later and still no email, and the phone just rings out. Original order was a month ago now.
I purchased using Paypal do I think I'm protected - I started a dispute claim last week which Granfondo have not responded to.
Hope this gets resolved, but would recommend that you all avoid Granfondo Cycles
Cheers.

Bought a lumen light about 3 months ago and on last Friday it started to flicker until the pint where it fully stopped working by the time I got home
Battery had full charge, connection seemed fine also. Emailed cell to inform them of the fault as the light is supposed to have a 50,000 hours expectancy.
Without any questions they have arranged for a replacement one already.....thumbs up

Sounds very similar to my story. Numerous phone calls and the same response re "order will be shipped the next day"Chef wrote:Hi,bazilicus wrote:Chef wrote:Has anyone here ordered from Granfondo cycles in Queensland?

This was in the box so would have caused customs delay!
All up 13 days.

Sucks that it was delayed over 10p worth of complementary lollies. Were they nice?Baalzamon wrote:I just got my latest package from Wiggle. Took a little longer than usual and I got the box today. Quickest I've ever got a delivery from the USA. Very impressed.

I have experienced the opposite with Evans Cycles. Elite V-Arion Rollers cost over A$50 more to have sent to a UK address than it does to Australia .Ressler wrote:I'm sure others have pointed this out but it looks to me like there's a bit of 'Australian Customer' gouging going on at Wiggle.

Still no answer and no goods from Granfondo Cycles, however Paypal have refunded my money, so no loss and a reminder why I am happy to pay the extra couple of $$ for using thembazilicus wrote:

Ribble order placed 11 May - still waiting.
No name CF frame sent from China 13 May - arrived 18 May.
Makes you wonder why Wiggle orders take so long...

In Germany, the biggest is Zalando. Don't know how they are for international shipping.JV911 wrote:Does anyone know any wiggle-type online stores for casual shoes?
