Odd though that the paper reports him as "falling off his bicycle" but the radio says hit by a car.

Either way - condolences to this gentleman's family and friends. Thanks to those who obviously stopped to help and/or rang an ambulance.

I didn't know this chap personally, other than reading about the team, but very sorry to hear it ended this way.

Meanwhile, adding to the sadness, fellow 3Fidi rider Nicko finally succumbed to his illness after a 4 year battle this afternoon. Very sad day indeed. Condolences to all the families.
