On Sundays there is The Bike Shop and Salamanca riders. Only two groups I know of that go out every Sunday.
Salamanca Ride starts at 830, at Salamanca whatever route gets decided on the day. They get between 10-20 people.

Just planning a ride for Saturday morning (November 27) if anyone is keen to join me...
One off
Day: Saturday November 27
Time: 8:00am
Where to: Howrah, Lindisfarne, Geilston Bay, Grass Tree, Richmond, Midway, 7 Mile, Cambridge, Mt Rumney, Bellerive, Howrah.
How Far: It's about 75 from my place (Howrah)
Weather: This ride is dependant on the weather being OK... It's meant to be a few showers, so if that's all it is it should be OK.
Options on route: See above.
If the weather forecast remains as it is and doesn't change to 'rain' or something a little more defined than 'rain periods' I will be doing this (unless it's wet as in the morning when I get up).
If you are keen please post up and we'll suss a meeting place.
Cheers
J

Sat sounds good. I'm still in Melb at the moment and don't land till 9pm tonight - thanks for the offer for today though.
I fly out Sat arvo too so no good for Sunday - I'll have to make my next trip a little longer I think.
See you at Dome

6am might be a bit keen - I think i will miss the buffet breakfast at my hotel if I go then!!mcdurdin wrote:A group ride starts at the DOME cafe in Sandy Bay (King St / Sandy Bay Rd intersection) at I think 8:00am on Saturdays. Between 50 and 100km. Moderate pace. I won't have time to do the mountain tomorrow except perhaps at 6am... If you are that keen let me know and I'll consider it! It'll be cold though so rug up for the descent.
I'll look out for you - not sure what i'll be wearing - fair chance I'll have every piece of cycling clothing I own. Black helmet, black cervelo.BarryTas wrote:Sweet - re DOME - i have red helmet - glasses/or sunnies/ silver avanti grio, social ride until we see a hill
