Leaning isn't the problem but trying to put someone into the barriers is. We used too ride around the banks of the Velodrome leaning on each other on a regular basis and that's how you become good at handling these situations.
Even now, it doesn't faze me, so long as there's no intent to put into the fence of knock me off. I had a race on the Annadome where I had the sprinters lane and was riding near the top line and this young bloke had his thigh started rubbing against my arm, well he had the panic attack and pulled out of that situation very quickly and I was just.......seriously, that unnerved you?
