Nice post Family Guy on the current situation. Lilyfield Rd is now back in play as a route to the Anzac, via the yellow temporary bridge and the new bit of path (which needs a heavy roller, rather bumpy) down to James Craig, if you dont like Gordon St. Can also still use Catherine, Brenan and Railway Pde to the Light Rail Station and down the new temporary ramp to The Crescent, then back to James Craig.
Agree on lack of bike lights at Robert St. TfNSW put in bike lights at Gordon St but said they werent contemplating them at Robert St. Hard to follow. Maybe try complaining via TFNSW/RMS contact form on the TfNSW website, or jazper.blizzard@transport.nsw.gov.au (real name), who works with John Holland.
Lilyfield Rd is still unrepaired, very lumpy ride. Appreciate any help in lobbying John Holland to get on with “making good”. They said 6 months ago there is no reason not to proceed, like some other authority wanting to dig it up. Any way email jazper blizzard as above and info@rozelleinterchange.com.au and ask for the cable trench temporary filling to be made good on Lilyfield Rd. cc to Inner West Council at council@innerwest.nsw.gov.au and info@bikeleichhardt.org. Ta.
