Well my Wiggle order arrived yesterday and I can't fault them in any way, delivery-4 working days to Tasmania, packing-survived the local courier, price-unbeatable with my 20% voucher.
This was my birthday present and I'm now the proud owner of,
Niterider Minewt 350- looks like a beauty, mounted, charged and ready to go $221

Yep, that's pretty cool. I suspect half of Antarctica is now covered in ash. (as an aside what is wrong with the NZ zookeepers not allowing that lost emperor penguin to stay there? Send it to Taronga, we have plenty of penguins

Made a $400 order (free shipping) with c r c last week and it arrived within 6 days . The shoes were I ordered were slightly small , so I slapped an add in the for sale forum . I couldn't believe it when a guy emailed me to tell me he had the exact same shoes one size larger that were too big for him . AND he lived 2 suburbs away .. unbelievable
Win Win and a nice guy to boot

Ordered a pair of Avid Shorty Ultimates from Wiggle last week that were 'available to order' - rear was dispatched within two days - I had an email this morning informing that the front wouldnt be available until September

Here we go again. Why it is very hard to support Australian bike shops.
I am updating my group set to the latest Shimano 105 5700. Here are the costs from Ribble in the UK.
Front Derailleur: $24.13
Rear Derailleur: $39.58
Compact Chainset: $119.83
Chain: $21.29
12-25 cassette: $39.37
Postage: $26.06
Total: $270.26
All the latest Shimano 105 5700 in black. I have already fitted the gear/brake levers for about half the Australian price.
Check out the prices of the items in Australian shops and you will see what I mean. And the Aussie Dollar has increased in value since I put in the order.

You might want to check that the difference between the front and rear models isn't merely pads swapped from one side to the other.

This is my experience with Wiggle.
My first ever order ot 2 tyres on the 19-6-11 and then despatched on the 21-6-11. I am still waiting for it ???
My second order of a crank tool and mtb shoes on the 26-6-11 and despatched on the 27-6-11 arrived today 4-7-11 to Perth.
Where are my tyres??

Well I had a go at Cycling Express.
Needed a few things so looked around their website, prices are nice, so let's go.
Ordered my stuff online last Friday. Then I realised, stuffed up the order and ordered the wrong cassette. Hmm, ok, sent them an email explaining the situation. It would have been ok because the cassette I ordered by mistake would have been fine but I want the same gear ratios and these were different. Got an email today confirming that the order had been sent and they sent me the cassette I wanted to order not the one I actually ordered. The price difference was small, but it was in my favour, and they are not charging me (I would have been happy if they just put it on as a postage charge).
Parts haven't arrived but they are in the hands of Aus Post or couriers now so out of Cycling Express' hands.
All I can say is, great service and I'll order stuff from them again.

2 orders have been delivered within a few days of ordering. Certainly one of the more positive online experiences of internet shopping in oz I've had.
The normal procedure for buying of the internet in oz seems to be:- order, wait a few days for confirmation, wait a week to be told the stock isn't available and needs to be ordered in. Week another week to be told the stock has arrived. Then wait another week for it to actually be delivered! If only Australian companies could mastered the art of displaying real time stock levels!
Cell carry a limited range but they are certainly amongst the best I've seen in Oz. Its nice to buy local(ish) for a change.

My c r c order showed up today, dispatched 21st June. The Chiba Windproof Tour gloves have poorly stitched seams causing a hole in one of them. I've emailed them, awaiting reply but I doubt it would be viable to send them back. Everything else was as it should be though.

Ordered some SPD pedals from cell at around 1am whilst watching the tour last night... Arrived here at work no later than 1pm!!! The following day... That's impressive!

Still not a peep from c r c on the faulty gloves. I also sent pictures of the stitching to Chiba in Germany on the same day I sent them to c r c. To my surprise that night Mr Chiba, the company owner, emailed me and reckons he's gonna send me a new pair of gloves.

http://www.totalcycling.com/index.php out of Northern Ireland ? Their MTB groupsets are pretty good, but havent heard of them, or seen them mentioned here on ACF.

My one and only experience with Totalcycling.com was when I bought a Polar HRM from them a few years back. Whilst i eventually got my HRM, it was delayed by around 6 weeks. Emails weren't answered, i eventually phoned them and was told it was out of stock and they'd send it when they got some. I didn't buy off them again.

Yes, I've placed quite a few orders with them over the past few years and have received good service and prompt delivery. Their pricing on Campy parts was very good.
I stopped placing orders when they jacked up their shipping charges.
For MTB parts, All Terrain Cycles may also be worth a look.

ICYCLES seem to have jacked up there shipping charges a few months ago too. I wonder if the higher aussie adds to the costs for shipping at our end?

interested to know - did you order from items in stock ?. this seems at odds with a number or peoples experiences. only reason i ask is that i have a ribble and c r c order that ive just placed, and was about to place a wiggle order..... i thought maybe they were a blue chip o/s company. if theyre a bit sus, i will wait and place a second order with c r c....

ended up ordering an XT group plus other items from c r c. there was only perhaps a 60$ difference from Total Cycling, and i eneded up going for c r c only because ive had a positive experience with them in the past. Usually i like to spread the money over a nubmer of suppliers but went with what i know..
