One last big order from c r c (for now)
Ordered Mon 15/08
Delivered 9.50am, 19/08
Some minor issues, but Susan H from backorders is a legend. Given an order of DHL size, and the price being right to start with, c r c have always come through. great stuff !!!!

I ordered a Trangia cookset (alcohol stove) on 27th of July.
Nine days later a package arrived but contained the wrong model cookset.
I was unsatisfied with the cookset and emailed Wiggle with the problem.
Wiggle told me to keep the wrong one and sent me the model i ordered.
It took 14 days to arrive (gee thanks customs) but I'm now
a happy camper.
As I'm a big fan of "its the putting right that counts"
I'm now a fan of Wiggles.
Very professionally sorted in my opinion.

"Your order (ref W000707650) has been returned and an exchange order has been created. Details of your exchange order will be sent to you as a new order confirmation email."
Next email was an Order Confirmation confirming the items I originally ordered. I am thinking cool they are resending me the items.
Third email is:
"We have processed a refund of £ XX.XX. Please be aware that the refund may take up to 5 working days to appear in your account."
Now I am completely confused. I am hoping that they are resending the items as I don't want a refund and made that plainly clear in my email. Has anyone had an experience with Evans and their lost package policy??

I tried to last night but I mustn't have international calls as it said cannot connect. I'll check with Telstra now.rifraf wrote:Give em a tinkle on the dog and bonemoreegolfer wrote:I ordered some pedals and 2 x tires from Evans and haven't seen anything after waiting over 14 days. From memory there was an international dialing code and I think you may have to not use the first zero but do check with testra.moreegolfer wrote:

Maybe let everyone know what the international dialling code is?

My package arrived yesterday but still am unsure as to whether there is a replacement package coming. I will pay them for it if does arrive to ensure I can sleep at night . I can't fault Evans Cycles, their service is as good as I have had and the fact they are possibly responding to my concern by resending the parcel in good faith will gain more of my biz in the future.moreegolfer wrote:I ordered some pedals and 2 x tires from Evans and haven't seen anything after waiting over 14 days. Placed an order on Prendas Ciclismo on Thursday August 25 and delivered today August 31, 2011. Six days all up. Happy with that; good communication and items as per order.

That's good for Prendas - they've always been a 2 week turn around for me.Aushiker wrote:Hi

i bought a pair of SRAM Red shifters from a US based website.
the gear was posted via USPS Priority Mail International on the 11/8/11 and the tracking stops once it shows it has departed the US
last update:
Processed Through Sort Facility
Your item was processed through our ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS) facility on August 11, 2011 at 9:33 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination.
I am still waiting for the parcel to arrive after 3 weeks... anyone have an experiences lately with USPS? Should i have cause for concern or is this quite normal?

In my experience, USPS 'Priority' International Mail is anything but a 'priority'. Has always taken 3-4 weeks to Sydney and the tracking is rubbish.sagara0510 wrote:

I'd give it another week sagara0510 before asking some questions.

They are most probably held up in Customs, which is why they're off the radar at the moment. This has happened to me on numerous occasions. Give it another week and I'm sure they'll turn up.sagara0510 wrote:hi guys

Yep, I suspect 'in transit' often means sitting in a tub at the depot in the US while they wait for more mail to fill the tub before they ship it out.l45er wrote:In my experience, USPS 'Priority' International Mail is anything but a 'priority'.
