Same here ... I always compare like baskets. Wiggle hasn't won on my last two orders. Both times they where around $50 dearer than Ribble on order one ($200) and Evans with order two (~$200). c r c where even worse on order one, being around $100 dearer.

Have also shifted away from Wiggle and over to Evans on the basis of price for my last order (for some pretty standard items eg tri shorts x1, alloy cages x2, 3 x inner tubes, S/S jersey x1), I think I saved about $20 over the basket.

Paypal (for Evans) was not as convenient as straight credit card (for Wiggle) but I worked it out in the end.

Delivery (for Evans) was via Royal Mail and was fast as usual, all items present and correct.

Yeah if my LBS cant get close on price then I just go for the cheapest total order online. I have no loyalty to any online shops, that personal element is just not there for me.

c r c got my last order, no one else came close on price and most did not stock everything I wanted.

7days including a weekend and the flying Roo's reduced to hopping, im happy with that.

I have been using Ribble. Price is good and now you can see the freight early so you get the total up front.

Delivery has been very good.

Gave cycling express 2 orders but they were very ( weeks) slow and not to responsive.

Ordered some gear from Bicycling Hub—Castelli bib shorts and a jersey, and a Retro Image "Cat in the Hat"[1] jersey. Bought the bibs via their eBay store on the 18/10, and the jerseys via their website on the same date. Only option for international shipping was USPS, which was a little disappointing (would have preferred to pay $30 for DHL/Fedex/etc)—but they were the only reputable store I could fit the jerseys and bibs in the right colors/sizes (and by right color I mean black).

Arrived yesterday (2/11), which ultimately is fairly spot on for USPS. Pricing was good and they had a great range of stock, but just wish they had faster international shipping options.

Just got an e-mail from a mate. He ordered these MTB forks from Wiggle (GBP 220, list price) and received these instead! (GBP 387!)

He's only spewing they're for a 20mm axle :D

I've used Ribble, c r c, Wiggle, Torpedo7. But lately, Evans has been undercutting them all. :D

Although, if I was after a groupset, http://www.shinybikes.com/ seems the best. Super Record Ti for $1950. Sram Red for $1300.

90% of the time for sure .
Currently waiting on an order from ribble though which is now up to day 16 since I recieved the despatch notice . Took them 4 days to despatch it as well so the wait has far too long . I'm assuming it's the fault of Aussie post but we shall see when it arrives .
Edit:Arrived today . 21 from day of order . It was postmarked the day they said it was not really their fault .

hypothetical question: let's say that an especially inefficient online bike store, who you have faithfully patronised, despite their incompetence, to the tune of $1000s, accidentally sent you two deliveries of the same order. what would you do? just out interest.

I would let them know. I expect them to do the right thing by me, so to me it cuts both ways.

I know DX shipping can be slow some times, but this is ridiculous. It better arrive with a customs slip in it explaining it was help up for inspection.
Part shipment received today, but still no lights. I'm back on the bike and actually will be using them now. It's been over 7 weeks since I placed my order.

Never again will I order these type of bike lights from DX. Should have saved myself the hassle and gotten lights from AyUp which would have had the item delivered in a couple of days instead of a few months..
The light set finally arrived last Friday, 8 weeks after ordering.

Went to test it out last night after charging for 6 hours.. light or battery pack is buggered. No show.

Learnt my lesson. Never again will I buy high powered lights from DealExtreme. Massive waste of time.

On the subject of long waits, has anyone ever had a delivery from Wiggle take over 7 weeks to arrive?, that's how long this one has taken, Wiggle have since refunded me.............

How long after Wiggle dispatched the goods did they refund you? I am still waiting for an order that was sent from Wiggle by Royal Mail on 1 Nov.

I've just rebuilt/upgraded my steel road bike and had very hassle free and prompt service from Wiggle - took 3 days to get here, Velomine in the US for a groupset which was delivered in less than a week, Cycling Express which took about a week and Matuzmaster in Hungary who delivered a wheelset in less than a week.
I probably saved 50% on buying local but I was able to do the work myself.

I once ordered some tyres from Wiggle. After about a month of receiving nothing and checking with the post office, I contacted Wiggle and at which time they considered the tyres had been lost and resent the order. A week later I received my order of tyres. About 3 months after this I received the original order of tyres which I guessing must have gone via surface mail?

So on the 4th November I used the Chain Reaction offer or getting $75 off my next order.... I had 4 weeks to redeem this offer.

4 weeks is up next monday so I thought I better get cracking and use it. My cart has been sitting there with the code applied, ready to purchase (I like to leave the cart full for a few days incase I remember something else I need).
So I go to checkout tonight and notice my $75 off has vanished! I apply the code a few times and nup... not accepting.

The $75 off next order offer is still going so I read it carefully and they have changed the small print to read it must be redeemed within 2 weeks!
So either something has gone wrong, or they've decided to cut my redemption expiry short!

I've emailed them and explained the situation.... lets see what their customer service is like!
