Police at contraflow Southbank

Postby ValleyForge » Thu Feb 14, 2019 10:50 am

FWIW - Police are enforcing the temporary traffic lights at Southbank outside the Ship Inn.

Yes, I got pinged, but so did seven other people while I was holding. Shows how bad we are at red lights.

is that the crazy traffic lights right where you turn to get onto the Goodwill? I just rode through those - I don't understand why they're there?

Yup. The constable said there had been numerous complaints from the workers and the residents. Even a car drove through it while I was there. She got pinged too; mind you one of the workers in Hi-Viz dobbed her in.

Just ride around them from a different direction. Its a shared pedestrian zone :)
