It's not the first time that this has happened but you have to wonder how?

Makes me think my garage is under-utilised. N+12 anyone?

Some years ago I travelled with an Australian NRS team to the tour of the Gila in New Mexico USA as mechanic / soigneur. The USA pro teams had semi-trailers with literally hundreds of wheel sets and easily 50-60 bikes in there for a team of 8 guys. The mechanics would set up tables outside their trucks with bike stands and a full workshop of tools.redsonic wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 5:46 pmI was also wondering how they fit 14 bikes into 1 van????foo on patrol wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 2:35 pmIt's not the first time that this has happened but you have to wonder how?

Meanwhile we were working out of the boot of a hire car with a set of allen keys
So when they say "van" I'm thinking semi-trailer.

I had to move a shop full of stuff (yeah, COVID) and the man with the van had a extra long wheel base, high roof Fiat Ducato. It took just one trip (plus a few things in the car). Let’s just say that 14 bikes would not even half full it: the cargo space is 4m long. Cavernous!
