Each month, a forum member is selected as a winner and will receive an Orange Wipes Bike Cleaner Set from our forum sponsor Unpass.
Congratulations Duck! - forum winner for July 2024.
If there is one forum member who has been thanked the most, it is probably Duck! I don't know the origins of his member name (could it be a stray cricket ball?) but his bike mechanical knowledge is top-notch.
If you are trouble-shooting a bike issue or want to know about part / groupset compatibility (or even be corrected on your own bike knowledge), Duck! is the 'goto' person in the Australian Cycling Forum. Thank you Duck! for your generosity and support - with your help you have kept a lot of bikes on the road.

Australian Cycling Forums Monthly Winner
The monthly winner will be selected from the forum members and for practicality should reside in Australia. This is not a competition, there is no entry, rather I will select winner each month who catches my attention. Perhaps they have posted something insightful, they have assisted others with a great answer or does something positive. Feel free to send me a private message to suggest a worthy member and let me know why.
Bonus points to winners who then post a picture of their bike after being cleaned!

Oh my, that's unexpected, but appreciated, thank you! I am just one part of this forum community and happy to share what knowledge I have with other members.
PS: no cricket (or other sports) balls involved in my user name, it's part of a chain of many name-derived nicknames that have followed me since I was a kid.

I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

Wipes pack received today, thank you! I guess this means I'll have to get back on the bike in order to put them to the test & see how they handle my local Red Hill (Mornington Peninsula, Vic) "peanut butter" mud!
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
