Where bought and price
RRP for $629, LIfecycles in Penrith $599, purchased in Alice Springs from Mongoose dealer for $650 ($50 for busfreight from Melb)

How it is used
Riding around town doing errands ie: My shopping trolley

Description
Basic Fixie/Free wheel single. Supplied with front/rear brake, bell etc

Positives
+ Simple, comfortable to ride. Frame feels solid withouth being too heavy, good platform to upgrade in the future.

Negatives
- Comes with standard black BMX flat pedals, easy to slip off in fixie mode, needs toe clips. Cheap brake pads supplied that leave marks on RIMS (Orange RIMS)

Additional notes
Only mods I made, removed rear brake, comes as single so flipped wheel over. Needs different pedals, preferably with toe clips

Reccomendation
Good value for money single speed bike. The frame is the best part, headset equipment appears to be good also. The crank will be good for a few 1000kms and then time to replace. Wheelset is basic but practical, 25c on it so a little more comfortable than 23c. I looked extensively and couldnt find anything better value for money if you want to give "Fixed/Single" a try.
