To the righteous bloke who called out 'light' as I went through the intersection ... the light had just turned red as I passed you which basically meant I was through the intersection. Your light was NOT green. And should I remind you about your little footpath caper a hundred metres before let alone not indicating that you were going left and then doing a blind hook turn to end up in MY path as I was heading straight. If you are going to hook turn, get out of the way of the traffic you were just in.
.. and to the impatient fat woman who started honking me as I moved into the centre lane so that I could cross the road to the other side ... f you. The light 10metres ahead was red, and I was making sure I didn't get run over by any oncoming traffic.
Thanks to the two of you for making my planned easy ride home an aggravating, stress inducing one. Here's to a better weekend.

Deep breath, smile an' wave. "Have a nice coronary"
Toolong, thanks for that. There's so many uses for them little plastic wonders. D'yer know where I can get a suitable bandoleer from?

...whatever the road rules, self-preservation is the absolute priority for a cyclist when mixing it with motorised traffic.

I did not get it all... never had such problem in England.
My opinion is: in town, just ride slowly, the light turns orange, stop! That is what is expected of cars, so do the same!

I think I've met "righteous bloke" before on my commutes. He gave me a hard time for going too fast on a shared path (which is probably true) and then proceeded to run a red light. Bless!
