It'd probably be pushing your upper limit, but you might be able to pick up a (2014) Giant Propel SL0, if there are any available and in your size locally... Comes with Di2, and Zipp 404 Firecrest clinchers.

Failing that, the same bike but in SL1 spec should fall into that price range. Still mostly the same spec, but the groupset drops the Di2, to mech Dura Ace and you lose the integrated bar / stem setup. Other than that, same frame, wheel, spec etc.

If you dont want an aero bike, maybe a TCR SL1, but you'd have to spring for carbon wheels after.

Actually, there'd probably be a few nice bikes available in Mech DA spec, but you might have to buy your own wheels on top, as the bikes would typically come with a lo-profile alloy wheelset (although, decently specced).

Chances would be pretty damn good right here:

Not the best known brand out there, but I can vouch for these guys. Good bikes and good service. If I wanted all the bells and whistles brand new I'd probably go for something this. Non di2 model is $5k, and the 2014 model is $3800.

There is also this....... Specced with all the bells and whistles, just not a big manufacturer.

Come to think of it, for some it'd be worth buying the bike just for the sum of the parts on it... I dont think you could buy the wheels and tyres, groupset and brakes, bar and stem, saddle etc (all new) for much less than the cost of the whole bike!

For the brand snobs, if you didnt like the frame, could always sell the Polygon frame off and get something else, but keep all the parts (providing you tried but were not happy with the frame, but from the review i'd say thats probably doubtful - as I say, for the brand connissoeurs out there). Its a bloody good deal / price!

Having said that, the Giant Propel SL0 is basically the same bike spec wise, but with the Propel frame and Zipp 404 FC's instead of the C50's, and probably wouldnt cost much more...
