“the drive unit is compact so frame manufacturers can make E-MTB frames with shorter chain stays, giving riders better trail maneuverability.”
The heart of the system is the powerful 70 Nm drive unit together with the 500Wh battery. A dedicated chainring including crank arms and a 34T or 38T chain ring handle the power transmission. The system is controlled through a sleek bar-mounted cycle computer and a Firebolt switch unit for assistance control, along with a speed sensor set for the rear wheel. The whole system communicates via Bluetooth with the E-Tube software platform which allows the rider to change settings and customize the set-up via computer, tablet or smartphone.
