The next big cycling production nation - Cambodia

This is slightly US-centric as it is from a US trade mag - but may be of interest to many who following bike and parts production.

China is obvious, though consider that the average retail value of a China produced bike is lower that Taiwan. Essentially the cheap stuff from China and the more expensive sports bikes from Taiwan. However this is also shifting and a lot of brands are also shifting some production of high-end stuff to China where they can still get the quality but a lower production cost.

It is no surprise that Indonesia is represented however I didn't have Combodia ahead. Canada, as the northern neighbour obviously has a bigger role that it would for European and Asia Pacific exports.

One thing to keep in mind, these are bicycle imports and not 'parts and accessory' imports.
