ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a hit and run in Dickson yesterday (Tuesday, 2 May) where a cyclist was struck by a car.
Around 5.45pm a cyclist was hit by a white sedan on the pedestrian crossing on Challis Street.
The cyclist was knocked to the ground and sustained minor head injuries. The driver of the white sedan left the scene without providing details or checking on the injured cyclist.
Police are calling for the driver of the vehicle to come forward and make contact with police by attending a police station or calling 131-444.
Police urge anyone who may have witnessed the collision or anyone who may be able to identify the driver of the white sedan to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers website. Please quote reference 6100449. Information can be provided anonymously.
