So I was running Conti Contact Speed 406-28 but they were not very comfortable. Faster and less jarring than the Marathons they replaced but they had this strange habit of going bump-bump-bump as they fitted neatly into the undulations in even the best road at any speed.
Today I fitted a set of Conti Urban 406/42 to the trike and it made a huge difference. Still fast but much more comfortable. Running the same pressure - 70 on the rear with the heavy motor and 60 on the two fronts. The Marathons were 90psi or so, any less and they were horrible slugs.
I haven't tried Big Apples, some say they are slow some say they are fine.
Are there other 20" wheel trikists out there? What are you using?

I use Scorchers, they work for me though I know others don't think much of them, reporting poor grip and being puncture magnets. I run 45psi front / 50psi rear on 406-40 size.
Maxxis DTH seem to work well on a couple of velos I know of, and I've had my eye on the Maxxis Torch to try in the near future.

Yeah I had Scorchers on the GT and while a nice ride for me they definitely were a puncture magnet. 4 punctures in 3 weeks was just not on!
